The European Cluster Cooperation Platforms (ECCP) were held in Taipei from 21 to 23 October business partnership and matchmaking event bringing together the European cluster community and Taiwan's high-tech ecosystem. The mission aims to strengthen interregional cooperation and build new bridges between innovation, artificial intelligence, robotics and green industry sectors.
Representatives of Cleantech Lithuania participated in this mission as part of the Lithuanian cluster ecosystem in order to establish new contacts and develop cooperation with Taiwanese innovation partners.
On the first day, seminars and networking meetings were held between members of the EU delegation. The delegation visited Solomon AI & 3D Vision and Foxconn, two companies that perfectly reflect Taiwan's leadership in artificial intelligence, robotics and smart manufacturing. The day concluded with the European Innovation Week Grand Opening, a joint EU-Taiwan initiative highlighting the mutual commitment to innovation, green transformation and industrial cooperation.

On the second day, the EU delegation visited the joint TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan exhibition, one of the most important Asian technology events. Taiwan's most advanced technologies were presented here: from ESG accounting systems and hybrid transformers to robotics and AI-driven automation. During the exhibition, the delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted with various cleantech innovations for energy efficiency, sustainable production systems and smart urban infrastructures.
At the opening of the exhibition, TAITRA Chairman James C. F. Huang emphasized: “In the era of artificial intelligence, TAITRONICS brings industry together and shows how technology and humanity can move forward together.”
Hubert Gambs, Deputy Director-General of DG GROW at the European Commission, said: “The digital industrial revolution is an opportunity to improve services. Taiwan is a great place for European companies to look for partners. By combining our strengths, we can more easily achieve our goals.”
The debate focused heavily on drone technology, with representatives from the EU and Taiwan looking at how the next generation of drones can transform the logistics, mobility and sustainability sectors.

On the third day, the EU-Taiwan Business and Clusters Forum & Matchmaking Event took place, where European clusters, companies and Taiwanese associations presented their activities, participated in pitch sessions and bilateral meetings, looking for new opportunities for cooperation and business partnerships.
According to ECCP, the event showed that cross-regional innovation partnerships — from advanced robotics to next-generation drones — are creating a smarter and more resilient industry on both sides.

Cleantech Lithuania thanks the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) team for the opportunity to participate in this mission. We hope that the established contacts between the Lithuanian and Taiwanese business ecosystems will become a basis for mutual benefit and long-term cooperation.
