The Cleantech Capital Day, held for the first time in Tallinn, brought together investors and innovators from all over Europe.

It happened for the first time in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia Cleantech Capital Day has become a significant event for the European clean technology community. The event brought together more than 200 professionals, ranging from investors and policymakers, to start-ups, start-ups and industry leaders from Europe, China, the Middle East and North America.

The event was opened by the Estonian Minister of Energy and Environment, Andres Sutt, with a very important message: innovation must stay in Europe and clean technology developers have the opportunity to build, grow and scale their businesses right here at home. His call to action was clear — if we are to achieve a competitive and resilient Europe, strengthening the cleantech sector must become a priority.

Cleantech Capital Day is a 1.5-day event that brings together the most important players in the clean technology sector every year. Most members of the Cleantech Scandinavia network participate in this event together with international investors, large industrial companies and advanced cleantech solution developers. This year's focus has been on bringing markets closer together — finding ways to more effectively bridge the Nordic countries with the wider Europe and the world, boosting business growth in cleantech.

The event featured numerous networking sessions, company presentations (pitches), and thematic reports on the development of the sector. It also delved into specific markets, seeking ways to strengthen interregional cooperation and promote the diffusion of sustainable innovation.

The event was organized by the Estonian Cleantech Association in cooperation with Cleantech Scandinavia, Cleantech for Nordics, Cleantech for Baltics and Beamline Accelerator.

We are proud to contribute to such events as a member of the Cleantech for Baltics coalition.
