Cleantech Lithuania sets the course for the next five years

In a strategic session with cluster members on 18 September, the Cleantech Lithuania community worked together to develop a vision for the future. The meeting became an important stage, helping to identify priorities and actions that will ensure the value of the cluster for the members and contribute to the growth of the entire Lithuanian cleantech ecosystem.

Topics of discussion

During the session, we discussed three main dimensions:

  • The past — what results we have already achieved, what experiences and initiatives have shaped the current Cleantech Lithuania community.
  • Present — what is the value of the cluster today for the members, what needs and challenges we see in the sector.
  • The future — what vision do we have for the next five years and what steps will need to be taken to achieve it.

One of the most important highlights was the common aspiration for Lithuania to become a cleantech leader in the Baltic region.

Main directions

In the discussions, we clarified the topics that will become our guidelines for the period ahead:

  • strengthening cooperation among cluster members;
  • increasing internationality and promoting the visibility of Lithuania's cleantech sector abroad;
  • support for the introduction and commercialization of innovations;
  • creating value for members through knowledge, networking and joint initiatives.

In the coming months, the team will develop an updated operational plan and a new strategy document based on the findings of this strategic session. We believe that together we can ensure that Lithuania's cleantech ecosystem becomes even stronger, more innovative and more competitive on an international scale.

We are grateful to all members who participated for their activism and insights. Special thanks to our strategist dr. Erika Vaiginienė, who professionally guided the entire process and provided a structured look at the cluster's future priorities. We also thank those who could not participate but shared their suggestions in advance — your insights have been included in the general discussion and are extremely valuable.
